GodTCP Manifesto

I sold everything I own for this mission and vision. Most sold at throw away prices. Everything gone now. The bed I slept in. The chair I sat on. The things I told myself I can never do without.

Why?

Because this vision matters more than comfort ever did. I gave things freely, not because I’m naively generous, but because I didn’t want anything to slow me down or waste my time. Selling takes time. Finding a buyer takes patience. And GodTCP couldn’t wait anymore. It’s been waiting since 2019.

Here’s what I believe:

If I show up with everything I have, I mean body and soul, every last thing, then  somebody else (you) will show up with what I lack. That’s GodTCP. That’s what this runs on. That’s how it gets built. Of course it’s going to be hard. But easy is mostly pretty boring. Easy has never changed a single thing that mattered.

So here’s what I’ve decided to do:

I’m getting on the road. No plan B or C or D to distract me. Singularity. Whatever amount of years it takes. Kenya to Argentina/ Brazil. Specifically, Meru to Iguazu. Not for fun. Purpose-driven Hitchhiking. However, whatever way. Detours. On the road. However which way. Getting rejected. Getting ignored. Getting rained on. Getting the door shut in my face. Getting told I’m crazy. Getting told to go home. Mostly rejected. But sometimes, sometimes, someone leans in. And when they do, that will be worth billions. It’ll be worth the wait. It’ll be worth the slammed doors.

Why the road? Why not on Zoom or any other easier strategies?

Because GodTCP cannot be built from a cozy bedroom in fuzzy slippers or by sending  AI emails. Someone has to be out there. Far from the warm quilt. Facing the brutal elements. Hungry. Tired. Dirty. That person is me. I choose that. Someone else (YOU)  will choose to be whatever they want to be at GodTCP. I choose to be the Hitchhiker at GodTCP.  Not a CEO, or CFO or COO or anything like that.  None of that. I choose every cold night. Every empty stomach. Every stranger’s suspicion. That’s my contribution to GodTCP. That’s what I bring. What will be your contribution?

You know, I have just made this website public from a small  farm here in Meru county, Kenya. In a farm, where I was born. One day maybe three or five months or years from now, I’ll run into you. I’ll probably look tired pale and awfully lanky from months on the road. My clothes will probably smell. ( I’ll only wear overalls and gumboots)  My eyes will be too bright and too tired at the same time.

I’ll look you right in the eye and ask: “How would you like to contribute to GodTCP?” And you might say: “What’s GodTCP,  you crazy man?” You might tell me to get out of your face. You might walk away.

OR…You might lean in. And once you get it (really get it) together we’ll change the world. We’ll solve painful problems. That’s my goal. That’s why I’ll be on the road from Meru to Iguazu.

The truth I haven’t said yet is:

GodTCP isn’t for everyone. It’s for the few. The ones sick and tired of the same old ideas. The ones burned by “normal.” The ones who have watched good people suffocate inside safe lives. The ones who aren’t afraid of change because they know the other side is better.

The question I asked myself was simple: What if buyers spoke first?

The crazy truth is:

“Every seller on earth is shouting into a megaphone hoping someone is listening. What if the buyer just raised their hand?  What if we reversed commerce?  What if we built an open-source version messy, public, cameras rolling and just tested it?  Not in a boardroom. On the road. With real people. Real rejections. Real breakthroughs?

The more I thought about it, the more obsessed I became.

I could see it. A bulletproof, point-and-shoot kind of commerce. Simple. Human. Reversed. Instead of the chaos we’ve normalized until we can’t even feel it anymore. I’ll be on the road demonstrating different pillars of GodTCP or should I call them arms of GodTCP. Ideas like:

The Scrutiny Cubes – to help solve the nightmare situation with phones in the market places.

 GodTCP Walls- Explained inside.

GodTCP Wheels-explained inside

GodTCP Wallets-Explained inside.

Mostly unconventional ideas. Debatable. Some of them probably sound pretty  crazy.

But here’s what I know: If a debate can make the world better for just one person, or just ninety people in Nairobi, or sixty-six people in Sydney, or forty in France or ten in Texas, or a handful in Hungary, then that debate is worth it. Worth every rejection. Every cold night. Every mile.

One last thing:

Before I left this farm where I’ve activated this website, I’ve handed over my Rode NT1 5th Gen, Scarlett 2i2,third gen and The HPS 3000 studio headphones to my parents. They’ll hold them. If you can prove (not to me but to people) that you can record an EASY sonic signature  for GodTCP, the gears are yours. My parents will ship them to you.

Click the button below to see some of  the raw ideas. I’ll be road-demonstrating them. We’ll improve them daily. By adding, subtracting, integrating, iterating, whatever it takes.  Face to face. Rejection by rejection. Welcome by welcome.

The constant is this:

This is not a one man show. This is not my show. It’s a YOU show. It’s a family show. A community show. A worldwide show.

I’ll see you on the road. Meru to Iguazu. Overalls and Gumboots. Let the journey officially begin. Let the work begin.
